About the Role

Rolls-Royce Data Labs is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Data Scientist or AI Engineer to join our innovative team in Bangalore. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with relevant experience to build a career in artificial intelligence and data analytics, working on impactful projects in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and deploying AI models and algorithms to address complex engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business objectives.
• Perform data analysis and pre-processing to prepare datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Support testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document methodologies, processes, and results to maintain clear communication within the team.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Familiarity with Python, Azure technology stack, and GenAI frameworks.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas, NumPy, or SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Internship or project experience in AI, language modelling, and data science is preferred.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are advantageous.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Matplotlib is a plus.
