About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to join our Global Market Data and Artificial Intelligence Lab in Mumbai. This team applies advanced Machine Learning and AI techniques to structured and unstructured data, aiming to enhance client services, support traders in risk management, and leverage alternative data sources for strategic insights.
Internship Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Start Date: Flexible (earlier preferred)
- Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
- Work Mode: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Explore and analyze data from diverse sources.
- Perform conceptual modeling, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and optimization.
- Clean, normalize, and transform data.
- Formulate and test hypotheses using experiments.
- Assist in building ETL workflows to integrate data into existing systems.
- Ensure data integrity and security.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong foundation in Data Science with problem-solving abilities and model interpretability.
- Knowledge of statistics, probability, inference, and linear algebra.
- Experience in Machine Learning tasks such as classification, prediction, and clustering.
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and langchain.
- Clear and concise coding skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Engagement with the Data Science community (e.g., Kaggle, OpenML).
- Awareness of current AI/ML research and literature.

Education & Eligibility
