About the Role
Gainwell Technologies is seeking a skilled Data Reporting & Analytics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to building innovative healthcare reporting and analytics products that help improve health and human services outcomes. This position focuses on product development and does not involve handling sensitive health or personal information.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, plan, design, document, and recommend improvements to business processes to support technology goals.
- Act as a liaison between project managers and technical teams to define, track, and communicate business requirements.
- Develop conceptual data and process models to support decision-making.
- Manage data sets and generate insights using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Ensure project goals are met throughout all phases by facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills
- 0–2 years of experience in Data Analytics or relevant academic coursework.
- 3+ years of experience translating technical requirements into business outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for communicating with business leaders and technical teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of data governance principles and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve complex problems creatively.
- Strong analytical mindset and collaborative approach.
Work Environment & Expectations
- Hybrid/remote work flexibility.
- Standard working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with occasional flexibility for urgent meetings.
