Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer I to join our Data Engineering team in Pune, India. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to identify problems and opportunities where data analytics can drive impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business problems and opportunities suitable for analytics-based solutions.
- Design and develop analytical models to address complex business challenges and uncover insights.
- Translate data into actionable information with clear scenario analysis and execution plans.
- Work with team members to source accurate and relevant data for machine learning models, considering infrastructure and security requirements.
- Conduct data analysis and develop moderately complex algorithms.
- Frame business scenarios that influence critical processes and decisions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to select relevant data sources and create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Perform data profiling and implement measures to improve data quality.
- Identify opportunities for automation to enhance enterprise data quality.
- Code, test, debug, and document complex programs, ensuring systems meet user requirements.
- Develop specifications for customer-specific reports and data elements.
- Provide innovative technical solutions in data science and machine learning.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Certifications
- Advanced Data Analytics Certifications
- SAS Statistical Business Analyst Professional Certification
Experience
0–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare data analytics or data engineering.
