Job Description

Role Summary
Collins Aerospace is hiring Junior Tech professionals to support airport IT operations onsite at Cochin Airport. The selected candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning, real-time incident response, and compliance of airport IT systems critical to passenger and baggage services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform both corrective and preventive maintenance on airport IT systems including:
    • CUPPS (Common Use Passenger Processing Systems)
    • CUSS (Common Use Self Service)
    • BRS (Baggage Reconciliation Systems)
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure components such as servers, routers, LAN/WAN links, dashboards, and network devices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve real-time IT faults and operational incidents
  • Execute system updates, configuration changes, and scheduled tasks to maintain optimal performance
  • Keep detailed documentation on system logs, hardware/software maintenance, and use core room inspection checklists
  • Coordinate with Shift-in-Charge and Site Manager to fulfill service level agreements set by CIAL
  • Work collaboratively under the guidance of Senior Engineers during shifts

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong knowledge of airport IT or airline systems support
  • Experience working with system performance monitoring tools and network troubleshooting utilities
  • Capability to independently manage assigned responsibilities during rotational shifts
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation
  • Ability to follow strict compliance and documentation procedures in an airport environment

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
  • ITIL Foundation
  • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate)

Technical Skills Required:
CUPPS, BRS, CUSS, Network Administration, Server Maintenance, System Health Monitoring, LAN/WAN Troubleshooting, Hardware Diagnostics
