Overview
About the Internship:
This is a 12-week internship during summer 2025, where you will collaborate with a world-class team to build the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. You’ll work on highly complex, large-scale technical problems that bridge web-scale applications and blockchain technology.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to shape and execute Coinbase's technical roadmap.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets user and business needs.
- Solve unique, large-scale technical challenges to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone worldwide.
- Operate and optimize real-time applications with high-frequency, low-latency updates.
- Help manage and enhance secure, containerized infrastructure running in the cloud.
Requirements:
- Experience in any object-oriented programming language (gained through coursework, personal projects, or work).
- Passion for building user-centric experiences.
- Self-motivated and committed to personal growth.
- Positive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Ruby, or Rails.
- Experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
