Citi is seeking apprentices across multiple divisions. The India Apprenticeship Program is designed to help participants build a broad set of skills while gaining practical exposure to daily business operations.

Program Experience

The apprenticeship begins in June with a short induction that introduces Citi, its technology environment, and key business divisions. Apprentices receive hands-on work experience and are expected to contribute meaningful deliverables to their teams during the 12 month program.

Along with day to day responsibilities, apprentices also have opportunities to expand their professional networks within the organization.

Training and Development

This 12 month program in India provides on-the-job training while supporting one of Citi's business groups. Apprentices may work with teams across Banking, Markets, Services, Wealth, Operations, Technology, Internal Audit, HR, Risk, and Control functions.

Candidate Profile

Citi is looking for motivated individuals who are curious, eager to learn, and interested in starting a career in financial services. Ideal candidates enjoy problem solving and generating creative ideas in a collaborative environment.

• Interest in learning about a variety of roles within the assigned business or function
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Capability to operate in a fast paced and evolving environment
• Creative and innovative thinking with a global perspective
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline with graduation between December 2022 and June 2026
• Less than 12 months of prior work experience
• No ESIC or EPF account
• Willingness to relocate within India if required

Shortlisted candidates will need to register as an apprentice through the government apprenticeship portal.
