The Technology Summer Analyst takes part in a 10 week rotational program designed to provide hands-on exposure to Citi’s technology environment. The program offers training and practical experience that helps participants begin building a long term career with the company. During the internship, analysts are expected to contribute real work and deliver value to their teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on projects using core technologies and apply basic knowledge across frontend, backend, and database systems.
• Quickly learn new tools, technologies, and technical environments.
• Collaborate with team members to address technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate as part of an engineering team to design and develop innovative systems.
• Assist in solving technical problems and help improve existing applications and platforms.
• Share new ideas and perspectives that contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced engineers to support professional growth.

Technical Environment

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, React with React Responsive and Material UI components
• Backend: Python
• Database: MongoDB
• Version Control: Git, GitHub

Optional Technologies

• Infrastructure management with Terraform
• Automation or deployment using Shell scripts

Deployment Target: AWS serverless services including S3, CloudFront, Lambda, and DocumentDB.
