Citi Hiring Securities & Derivatives Analyst in Pune | ₹4-8L

The Securities & Derivatives Analyst role involves processing orders and transactions received from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The position focuses on managing the clearing, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities

• Verify trades to ensure the accuracy of booking requests.
• Create and match trade confirmations using International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates.
• Complete settlement activities and perform daily rate revaluations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate transaction processing issues with the appropriate teams and assist in resolving them.
• Conduct regulatory control checks, account reconciliations, and maintain records in line with established policies.
• Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports.
• Provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to new team members.
• Participate in periodic General Ledger proofing exercises when required.
• Assess risk appropriately during business decisions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, and escalate control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of settlement cycle concepts.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
