Fund Accounting Specialist

This position is part of the Operations - Transaction Services group within the Fund Accounting job family. The role focuses on supporting financial reporting and fund accounting activities for hedge funds and mutual funds.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 0-2 years of experience in fund accounting or financial reporting for hedge funds or mutual funds.
• Understanding of capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with the mutual fund and hedge fund industry.
• Experience preparing and presenting financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, Irish GAAP, or similar standards.
• Previous experience in BPO or captive environments supporting capital markets back-office processes.
• Exposure to financial reporting and fund accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports for long funds in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, Lux GAAP, or UK/Irish GAAP standards.
• Ensure deliverables meet defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Adapt quickly to process requirements and maintain accuracy in reporting tasks.
• Be willing to work in shifts and adjust work hours according to operational needs.
