Business Execution Team, Banking IGS

The Business Execution team in Mumbai supports Business Managers by providing analysis and operational assistance that helps guide strategic planning and business performance monitoring.

• Conduct analysis to support the Business Execution Lead and senior team members in planning and strategy development.
• Run and interpret internal business metrics such as client revenue, returns, backlog management, client calls, exposure, risk capital, and wallet data.
• Assist with franchise initiatives and preparation of internal strategy presentations.
• Coordinate client coverage and attribute updates with CIS and Toolbox teams.

Role Outline

• Assist the Business Execution Lead in the daily management of franchise units, focusing on research and analysis that supports strategic decision making.
• Participate in planning, execution, and follow-up of management activities including franchise reviews, client planning, and project-related tasks.
• Collaborate with bankers, BELs, and product partners on business metrics such as client prioritization, coverage, revenue, returns, and pipeline tracking.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management covering franchise performance, including revenue and backlog analysis and client calling intensity.
• Support budgeting analysis by client and product and review the target market.
• Conduct revenue analysis, investigate missing or incorrect revenue bookings, and work with partner teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Analyze wallet data, track wallet rankings and market share, and investigate discrepancies between external data and internal systems.
• Provide reporting and analysis on metrics such as Revenues, Wallet, Outstanding and Unused Commitment (OSUC), GAAP Assets, Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and ROTCE.
• Enhance routine deliverables through additional analysis and insightful commentary.
• Support and guide junior team members while contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
• Assist senior team members with planning and execution of complex projects and team initiatives.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with advanced spreadsheet capabilities.
• Experience working with systems such as CIW Essbase, SmartView, Toolbox, DMS, Dealogic, and Opportunity System.
• Understanding of financial concepts and business metrics.
• Ability to manage confidential data and handle multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.
• Experience with Tableau, VBA Macros, SQL, or AI tools is considered beneficial.
