Overview
The team partners with bankers and senior management across the global Banking division. It focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and reporting market data expenses while identifying ways to manage and reduce costs. The role also involves vendor management, controlling market data access permissions, implementing cost saving initiatives, and supporting ad hoc business requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide in-business support to the Banking group to help deliver efficient, timely, and cost effective solutions for market data requirements of global banking users.
- Work with global business execution leads and senior stakeholders to understand and support their market data needs.
- Maintain accurate market data inventories, perform analysis, and conduct routine checks to ensure access levels remain within allocated budgets.
- Collaborate with sourcing and market data teams to manage vendor contracts and optimize overall spending.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and suggest process improvements to improve financial efficiency.
- Analyze multiple databases and compare them with other products available in the market.
- Support planning, development, and overall delivery of services and operational support.
- Establish consistent and standardized processes in collaboration with global stakeholders.
- Take ownership of end to end development of assigned projects or programs.
- Work hands-on with teams to understand issues and drive resolution when required.
- Coordinate across offshore, onshore, and vendor teams while tracking project deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with local policies and processes for both individual work and team activities.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, summarize, and present information effectively.
- Understanding of investment banking and capital markets products.
- Familiarity with market data systems such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Dealogic.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and working with multiple teams.
- Good organizational, planning, and prioritization capabilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data.
