Banking IGS: Business Execution Team

The Business Execution team supports Business Managers by performing analysis that helps leadership plan and execute strategy effectively.

• Analyze internal business metrics including client revenue, returns, backlog management, client calling, exposure, risk capital, and wallet data.
• Support franchise initiatives and contribute to internal strategy presentations.
• Coordinate client coverage and attribute updates with CIS and Toolbox teams.

Role Outline

• Assist the Business Manager in daily operations of franchise units with a focus on analysis and research that informs strategic decisions.
• Participate in planning, execution, and follow up of management processes such as franchise reviews, client planning, and project-related initiatives.
• Communicate with bankers, Business Managers, and product partners regarding business metrics including client prioritization, coverage, revenue, returns, and pipeline data.
• Prepare reports and presentations on franchise performance for senior management, including revenue and backlog analysis, calling intensity, budgeting by client and product, and target market reviews.
• Perform revenue analysis and investigate missing or incorrect revenue bookings, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure accurate recording.
• Analyze wallet data and track wallet ranking and market share, including investigation of discrepancies between wallet data and internal systems.
• Create reports and analysis across metrics such as Revenues, Wallet, Outstanding and Unused Commitment (OSUC), GAAP Assets, Return on Risk Capital (RORC), Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and ROTCE to support business decision making.
• Enhance routine deliverables with additional insights and commentary through independent analysis.
• Support and mentor junior team members while promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist senior team members with planning and execution of complex projects and team initiatives.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, including advanced Excel functions.
• Understanding of financial concepts and metrics used in business performance analysis.
• Ability to handle confidential business data and reports.
• Experience with Tableau, VBA macros, and SQL is considered an advantage.
