Banking IGS: Business Execution Team
The Business Execution team supports Business Managers in analyzing operational and financial data to assist planning and strategic decision making. The team works closely with internal stakeholders to review performance metrics and support business initiatives.
- Analyze internal business metrics such as client revenue, returns, backlog management, exposure, risk capital, and wallet data.
- Support franchise initiatives and help prepare internal strategy presentations.
- Coordinate with CIS and Toolbox teams for client coverage and attribute updates.
Role Outline
- Assist the Business Manager in daily operations of franchise units, with a focus on research and analysis that informs strategic decisions.
- Take part in planning, execution, and follow up activities for management disciplines including franchise reviews, client planning, and project initiatives.
- Collaborate with bankers, business managers, and product partners regarding business metrics such as client prioritization, coverage, revenue, returns, and pipeline.
- Create reports and presentations for senior management highlighting franchise performance, revenue trends, backlog insights, and calling intensity.
- Perform revenue analysis and investigate missing or incorrectly booked revenues while coordinating with product partners to ensure accurate recording.
- Conduct wallet data analysis, monitor wallet ranking and market share, and query discrepancies between wallet data and internal systems.
- Prepare reports and analyses across metrics such as Revenues, Wallet, Outstanding and Unused Commitment (OSUC), GAAP Assets, Return on Risk Capital (RORC), Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and ROTCE.
- Enhance routine deliverables by adding analytical insights and commentary.
- Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
- Assist senior team members in planning and executing complex projects and team initiatives.
Skills
- Strong capability in Excel and PowerPoint with advanced Excel functionality.
- Understanding of financial concepts and business metrics.
- Ability to manage confidential data and work with detailed datasets.
- Experience with tools such as Tableau, VBA macros, or SQL is an advantage.
