Role Overview
The Banking Support Analyst assists the Banking team by supporting day to day activities and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Working under guidance from senior team members, the role involves handling data management, reporting, compliance related activities, and operational support.
The analyst provides foundational support to global Investment Banking teams across a range of transactions including capital raises and mergers and acquisitions. The goal is to improve team efficiency by contributing analytical and operational assistance across several banking functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated operational support to the Banking team under supervision.
- Assist in preparing documentation for potential transactions while following established internal guidelines.
- Compile and summarize information related to client relationships and historical transactions, ensuring accuracy.
- Generate predefined reports used for market analysis and ensure timely delivery.
- Support the creation of presentation materials by formatting data and producing visual content.
- Maintain and update databases containing key contacts, client information, transaction data, and market details.
- Organize and distribute market research reports to ensure efficient access to information.
- Collect, organize, and validate data from multiple sources for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and marketing materials for the Banking team.
- Support due diligence activities and help prepare risk assessments by gathering and organizing documentation.
- Contribute to deal related and operational tasks such as preparing documentation and tracking project timelines.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance data management processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Assist with additional operational tasks when required.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations, maintaining strong ethical standards and data confidentiality.
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, or a related field.
- Ability to execute assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Experience organizing and managing data.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Understanding of financial markets, banking operations, or related concepts is beneficial.
- Commitment to maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
