Your Impact

As a Software Engineer, you will design and develop AI driven software solutions that support Cisco products and platforms. The role involves working across the stack, including APIs, backend services, user interfaces, and AI based systems. You will address real world technical challenges, deliver meaningful product features, and contribute to the evolution of modern connectivity technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion within the last three years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or relevant degree program such as an Associate degree, apprenticeship, boot camp, or specialized certification with one year of related experience, or a High School Diploma with two years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with no experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, C++, or Java, with familiarity in JavaScript or TypeScript for frontend development.
• Experience working with Spring Boot in Java.
• Experience using AngularJS.
• Hands on experience building APIs using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.
• Understanding of data structures, object oriented programming, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Cisco Cloud.
• Exposure to AI assisted development tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Golang.
• Experience using OpenStack.
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Experience working with large language models including OpenAI, Gemini, Llama, or Claude.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks including React, Angular, or Vue for full stack development.
