Role Overview

The Cash and Trade Processing Analyst 1 is an intermediate-level position responsible for handling complex transactions and supporting processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The role focuses on managing transfers, payments, trade transactions, and wholesale card activities while serving as a subject matter resource for operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Primary Responsibility
  • Review and scrutinize documents submitted by clients in relation to import transactions.
  • Secondary Responsibility
  • Process regular, restricted, and legal transfers, including payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows, and wholesale card activities.
  • Ensure transactions are completed efficiently, act as a subject matter expert, and suggest process improvements when appropriate.
  • Assess issues and recommend solutions using data analysis, technical knowledge, and established practices.
  • Respond to requests for deliverables from internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Support and collaborate on cash and trade operations projects when required.
  • Build an understanding of how the cash and trade operations team interacts with other teams to achieve business goals.
  • Evaluate risks when making business decisions and ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and ethical standards while safeguarding the organization and its clients.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience related to document scrutiny is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of financial industry regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent practical experience.
