Overview
The Cash and Trade Processing Analyst 2 is an intermediate-level position that supports technology initiatives across the system development lifecycle in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The role focuses on researching and implementing sustainable technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and help reduce costs.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and recommend technology capabilities that help reduce client inquiries and manual processing.
- Study current treasury and client operations trends and suggest suitable technology solutions.
- Collaborate with vendors, technology teams, and client operations groups to prototype innovative solutions.
- Propose and implement improvements that increase operational efficiency and enhance the client experience.
- Support initiatives that drive strong client adoption of new solutions.
- Ensure requirements are clearly defined and that both business and client needs are addressed throughout development.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm’s reputation and protecting Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and ethical standards, and escalate or report control issues transparently.
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in a related role.
- Demonstrated understanding of the system development lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of emerging technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Analytical and presentation capabilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent practical experience.
