Your Team

Compliance Surveillance is a sub-function of the Global Compliance team. It undertakes investigation of trade surveillance, trade monitoring, best-execution monitoring, cross-trade monitoring, and other surveillance activities to identify irregularities by examining data and drawing conclusions about the information.

Your Role

• Understand trade surveillance and conduct daily reviews of market abuse alerts in the surveillance tool.
• Get trained in investigating irregularities and abnormal activities in daily trading, escalating potential violations to relevant regional teams.
• Get trained in monitoring activities such as best execution and fair allocation.
• Gain hands-on experience with order management systems including CRD, Aladdin, and Bloomberg, including data extraction and analysis.
• Prepare documentation to support reviews and demonstrate adequate processes and controls to meet regulatory requirements.
• Assist in delivering compliance-related projects and initiatives, including ad-hoc requirements.
• Conduct research on daily tasks to identify automation opportunities, including analytical workflows, to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and management to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of surveillance and compliance processes.

The Experience You Bring

• Good knowledge of financial products and the mutual fund industry.
• Understanding of trading principles and fundamentals.
• Strong analytical skills and superb attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with a network of colleagues across different time zones.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Open to flexible working hours.

Academic Requirements

• Master's degree in finance.
• No current backlogs.
• 60% or equivalent CGPA/CQPI throughout 10th, 12th or Diploma, and UG course.
