Role Overview

BlackRock is seeking an Analyst to join the Investment Accounting Group (IAG), providing accounting and regulatory data services for clients with $1.2T AUM. The role will involve developing investment process solutions for new and existing clients and collaborating with various BlackRock teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users, designers, developers, and product managers to create prototypes and innovative solutions.
• Design, develop, and create solutions to support business processes.
• Focus on solving complex problems, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients based on collaboration and service.
• Operate in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment as part of a global team.

Key Requirements

• 1-4 years of hands-on experience in enterprise software systems development using Python or Java.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design patterns and principles.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL and Sybase.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Experience with unit testing, agile development, and CI/CD strategies.
• Experience with cloud-native applications and technologies like Kafka and Cassandra is a plus.

Hybrid Work Model

Education Requirement: BA/BS in Computer Science from an accredited university
