Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building a high-performance payment platform with stringent scalability, precision, and availability requirements. You will work closely with a talented team to deliver impactful features for both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing cutting-edge cloud technologies and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code.
- Develop products that are scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant with automated failover.
- Operate and scale mission-critical applications supporting partners worldwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance BHN systems.
- Work with product architects, owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-value capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 0+ years of experience in software development using Java and J2EE.
- Proficiency with JDK 1.6 or above.
- Experience with Spring and Struts frameworks, and multithreaded application development.
- Knowledge of RESTful architecture and REST Web Services.
- Database design skills with DB2, Oracle, or MySQL, and strong SQL expertise.
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in finance or payment industry is an advantage.
