Role Overview:
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our innovative team. This role involves using cutting-edge technologies to develop processing systems and solutions that handle high-volume transactions between Blackhawk and its partners. You will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-performance software solutions using modern architecture patterns and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects to design and implement robust solutions.
- Work closely with product teams to align software development with business goals and deliver on schedule.
- Partner with operations and support teams to ensure successful production delivery and smooth post-release handoff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0+ years of software development experience with core Java and J2EE.
- Expertise in Java (JDK 1.6 or above) and practical experience with Spring and Struts frameworks.
- Proficiency in developing multithreaded applications and implementing RESTful web services.
- Strong database design skills, with experience in DB2 or Oracle and advanced SQL knowledge.
- Solid object-oriented design and development skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in the finance or payment industry is a plus.

Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills:
Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Multithreading, RESTful APIs, SQL, DB2, Oracle, Object-Oriented Design, Software Architecture Patterns.
