Job Overview

Barelasoft is seeking a meticulous Mobile App Tester to join its quality assurance team. This role demands expertise in ensuring mobile applications operate flawlessly, delivering optimal performance and usability across various devices. Candidates will engage in spotting and documenting bugs, collaborating with developers, and consistently enhancing application quality.

Area(s) of Responsibility

• Thoroughly test mobile applications across multiple platforms.
• Identify, document, and report bugs using tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers to address issues.
• Craft and execute detailed test plans and scripts.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure code changes don’t disrupt existing features.
• Stay abreast of mobile testing trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile app testing.
• Proficient in testing principles and best practices.
• Experience with Appium, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Familiar with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance and security testing.
• Understanding of mobile app development processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
