Global Business Services
Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to the Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model. In India, this work is run by BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation.
Job Description
The Global Technology division manages the critical systems and platforms behind the company's retail, commercial and institutional businesses, along with key support functions worldwide. Work covers mobile and online banking, payments processing, technology infrastructure, cyber-security, risk and capital management and enterprise data management.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will make sure software meets functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, with solutions designed for maintainability, easy integration and testing from the start. Key tasks may include:
- Gathering and translating internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications, including business process re-engineering
- Coding solutions and unit tests, and making sure they integrate cleanly into internal banking applications with robust, well-tested interfaces
- Taking part in CI/CD delivery and release events, such as branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge and conflict resolution and release notes
- Documenting models and findings, and supporting data collation and processing for development and delivery
- Building proofs of concept to test new ideas or reduce risk
- Making sure execution meets technology expectations for functionality, quality, performance, reliability and timelines
- Working with global development teams and business partners across APAC, EMEA and AMRS to translate requirements for banking, trading and markets
- Identifying, escalating and resolving incidents and issues
Foundational Skills
You will take part in hands-on work across the full software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing and deployment. A good grasp of industry development and testing practices and design patterns for complex applications is expected.
Desired Skills
- Experience with frameworks and tools for AI/ML applications is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud development is a plus
- Strong problem solving and quantitative skills
- Ability to implement solutions from requirements or from your own ideas
- Willingness to work in global distributed teams
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
