Job Overview
Kaleris is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our Managed Services team in Chennai. This role offers a structured career path for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to grow in application support, EDI, BI, or infrastructure domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Support: Monitor and support the N4 Terminal Operating System (TOS), troubleshoot incidents, perform configuration checks, and review logs.
- EDI (Electronic Data Interchange): Assist with message deployments, partner configurations, and troubleshooting common issues. Validate message flows with senior engineers.
- Business Intelligence (BI): Support dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Crystal Reports, and SQL. Assist in data validation and report enhancements.
- Infrastructure & Cloud: Gain exposure to server monitoring, networking fundamentals, Windows/Linux administration, and cloud environments. Perform routine checks on servers and databases.
- Operations Excellence: Address customer requests within defined SLAs, participate in on-call rotations, document solutions, and contribute to process improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred: Completion of Managed Services Apprenticeship or equivalent foundational experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Bonus skills: Linux, SQL, Networking fundamentals, Python, Power BI, Cloud concepts.
