About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer – Intern to join our engineering team. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to learn and develop skills in Python backend or React.js frontend development. You will work closely with senior engineers to build scalable, user-friendly applications and gain hands-on experience in modern software development practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications using Python or React.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under senior guidance.
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams.
- Participate in code reviews and adopt best engineering practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot development and test environment issues.
- Enhance application performance, reliability, and usability.
- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements
- 0–1 years of experience (including internships or academic projects).
- Basic understanding of Python or JavaScript fundamentals.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or React.js.
- Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms.
- Basic HTML, CSS, and REST API understanding.
- Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
- Exposure to databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
