About the Role

BT Group is seeking an Associate Engineer to join our Networks unit in Bengaluru. In this role, you will assist in executing routine software engineering activities, following established procedures and processes, while contributing to the delivery of our engineering strategy and roadmap. Required Skills & Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in software development.
• Exposure to object-oriented programming languages such as Java.
• Familiarity with frameworks like Spring and Angular.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with development tools such as Subversion.
• Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Excellent programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and propose optimal solutions.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of enterprise application technologies and design patterns.
• Interest in learning new technologies and exploring innovative solutions.
• Understanding of the Telecom OSS domain.
