About Kaleris and the Role

Kaleris develops mission-critical logistics and supply chain software used by major operators around the world. As part of the AIML team, you will begin your engineering career working on real-world AI systems designed to improve yard operations, terminal throughput, routing, and decision intelligence.

This role provides exposure to modern machine learning and MLOps practices while contributing to production-grade solutions in a collaborative and inclusive engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models supporting product features such as classification, regression, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, data cleaning, feature engineering, and labeling.
  • Run reproducible experiments and help automate training and evaluation workflows.
  • Support CI/CD processes for ML services using containerized environments and cloud platforms.
  • Track model performance, latency, and drift while assisting with troubleshooting and incident response.
  • Participate in code and design reviews and produce clear documentation and visualizations for stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships, academic projects, or research.
  • Proficiency in Python and common ML or data libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy.
  • Understanding of machine learning models and evaluation metrics.
  • Familiarity with Git, unit testing practices, and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow and experiment tracking tools like MLflow.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Interest in logistics or supply chain systems and reinforcement learning concepts.
