Job Description
The Associate 2 will be part of dedicated teams supporting US audit engagement teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of industry-specific audit procedures.
- Ensure work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time.
- Timely raise any issues identified to GDC Seniors, Managers, and Engagement Teams to maintain quality and turnaround time.
- Provide clarifications, train, and mentor junior associates on industry-specific audit and accounting knowledge and client-specific matters on audit work papers.
- Perform upfront reviews wherever required for deliverables and as advised by the team lead.
- Plan and organize work to ensure quality and efficiency of deliverables.
- Interact and seek clarifications from US rotational and engagement team points of contact.
- Understand and capture comments during Quality and Risk Management (QRM) review and from ET to provide feedback to junior associates.
- Work on improvement in audit work papers based on ET feedback.
- Continuously adopt process improvements and work towards improving efficiency in audit performance.
- Develop self and others by participating in and facilitating audit conceptual trainings.
- Participate in firm's strategic initiatives and/or corporate social responsibility programs.

- Willing and capable of delivering under tight timelines, including working on weekends based on business needs.
- Open to travel to US on short- and long-term assignments.
Qualifications
This role is for you if you have the below:
- Qualified CA/CPA and minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%).
- 0–1 year of post-qualification experience along with strong articleship experience from a mid-size or Big 4 firm (for CA).
- OR relevant experience of at least 2 years in case of possessing certifications other than CA.
- Experience with Big 4/leading audit firms or their shared service center would be preferred.
