About the Role

The Asset Servicing Analyst 2 is a developing professional position focused on applying specialized knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. This role involves identifying policy gaps and formulating new policies, interpreting data, and providing recommendations. The analyst will research and interpret factual information, identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues, and formulate recommendations for policies, procedures, or practices. The position requires integrating established disciplinary knowledge within its specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices and developing a working knowledge of industry standards. The impact of this role is limited but direct, influencing the business through the quality of tasks and services provided, and is primarily restricted to the immediate team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the reconciliation and processing of positions related to Corporate Action events.
  • Perform activities including revisions of communications, notifications, and facilitating postings for Corporate Action or Proxy events.
  • Review all Corporate Action/Proxy events received to ensure a detailed understanding of processing requirements.
  • Liaise with all units and departments impacting clients on Corporate Action Proxy items.
  • Proactively reconcile instructions against eligible holders and execute client votes.
  • Research and resolve all discrepancies according to department standards.
  • Review and update all processes and procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify and report any gaps or system enhancements needed.
  • Participate in all testing and successful implementations.
  • Escalate issues to management, participate in cross-training activities, and perform all other assigned job duties.
  • Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
