Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications team at Akamai. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications that support marketing and web content initiatives. You will contribute to Akamai’s primary ordering system, Momentum, which enables sales representatives to configure and sell products, processing more than 60% of all orders.
You will collaborate with global teams of developers, architects, managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time. This role involves end-to-end module development, from designing innovative solutions to implementing them successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Developers, Architects, Managers, and Business Teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions
- Develop and enhance applications using Ruby on Rails
- Build user interfaces for ordering flows such as products, options, and invoices using ReactJS
- Design and modify data models to meet requirements for order, pricing, billing, rules, and approvals
- Maintain and optimize existing data models and their integration with business processes
- Quickly adapt to new technologies and deliver effective solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 6 months of programming experience in Ruby on Rails, Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle
- Exposure to Salesforce is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative global environment
Education Requirement
