Internship Overview

An internship titled Intern - Airworthiness & Certification has opened at Airbus India in Bangalore, within the Airworthiness & Certification department. The internship is ideally 6 months long and should start in January 2027, though the date is flexible.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions (Python/Java coding, app scripting, etc.) to support the team.
• Use Large Language Models (LLMs) to process large regulatory documents and historical MODs information.
• Prepare and deliver knowledge material on AI and automation topics.
• Build and maintain web scrapers that automatically fetch information from various web-based tools and pages.

A tutor will support you in identifying your professional objectives and developing your skills.

Skills You Will Develop

• Overview of the aircraft certification process
• AI and LLM on-the-job learning
• Requirement gathering and small-scale solution development
• Presentation skills and interaction with highly skilled teams
• A safety mindset

Qualifications

Technical skills:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Python libraries and familiarity with LLM APIs (such as OpenAI or Vertex AI).
• Ability to summarize large documents into a concise summary without losing the essential message.

Soft skills: teamwork and adaptability, time management and reliability, proactivity and initiative, resourcefulness and critical thinking.

Language skills: English, fluent.
