Are you a student looking for an internship that will validate your degree and launch your career? An internship titled System Engineer - Intern has opened at Airbus India in Bangalore. You will join the Digital Infrastructure & Platform department. The internship is ideally 6 months long and should start in January 2027 (date subject to flexibility).

Your Main Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and trend analysis for proactive measures
• Report using the Airbus defined template and complete all details
• Provide accessibility and analysis for RCA, L2, and L3 support
• Work on the ServiceNow tool
• Take ownership of reported customer issues and drive them to resolution
• Follow standard procedures to escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
• Track issues through to resolution within agreed timelines
• Guide clients through a series of actions until resolution
• Provide accurate and prompt feedback to customers
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at once
• Document technical knowledge as knowledge base articles
• Standardize quality assurance procedures for software engineering, oversee testing, and develop fixes

A tutor will support you in identifying your professional objectives and developing your skills.

Skills You Will Develop

• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, dotNet, scripting, and Python
• Basic knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change Management, and Knowledge Management
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities
• Customer focus and proactive stakeholder management

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an Engineering (graduate or post-graduate) degree.

• Hands-on experience in Java, dotNet, scripting, Python, or similar
• Experience or understanding of designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
• Experience or understanding of APIs and integrations
• Experience or understanding of Linux or Unix environments
• Soft skills: creative thinking, time management, adaptability and resilience, analytical reasoning
• Language: fluent English
