Airbus India in Bangalore is offering a System Engineer internship in the Digital Infrastructure & Platform department. The internship is ideally 6 months long and should start in January 2027, though the date is flexible.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and trend analysis for proactive measures.
• Report using the Airbus defined template and fill in all details.
• Provide accessibility and analysis for RCA, L2 and L3 support.
• Work on the ServiceNow tool.
• Take ownership of reported customer issues and see problems through to resolution.
• Follow standard procedures to escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Track issues through to resolution within the agreed timeline.
• Guide clients through a series of actions until resolution.
• Provide accurate and prompt feedback to customers.
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at the same time.
• Document technical knowledge as knowledge base articles.
• Standardize quality assurance procedures for software engineering, oversee testing, and develop fixes.

Skills You Will Develop

• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, .NET, scripting, and Python.
• Basic knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change Management, and Knowledge Management.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities.
• Customer focus and proactive stakeholder management.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in Java, .NET, scripting, Python, or similar.
• Experience or understanding of designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Experience or understanding of APIs and integrations.
• Experience or understanding of Linux or Unix environments.

Soft skills: creative thinking, time management, adaptability and resilience, analytical reasoning.

Language: fluent English.
