Internship Overview

The internship is ideally six months long and should start in January 2027, though the date can be flexible.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess static and dynamic strengths using structural analysis, including stress, fatigue, computational fluid dynamics, and thermal analysis, to evaluate aircraft structural integrity under the full range of loads they face.
• Identify unforeseen structural design issues and recommend design modifications during aircraft development.
• Support aircraft certification by reducing risk in certification tests.
• Carry out root cause analysis and help resolve in-service issues.
• Use simulations to optimize manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Develop new simulation methods that make simulations more credible.
• Automate simulation lifecycle processes to cut manual effort and shorten simulation timelines.
• Explore digitization techniques such as AI and ML to augment simulations.
