Associate Systems Engineer - Java

The Associate Systems Engineer is part of the IIDPPS team in India and will support the SPDB platform and related products (Airbus Sovereign Physical Design Backbone). The role requires close collaboration with global Airbus teams and contribution to the evolution of the TDM application landscape using modern digital technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with application systems and collaborate with teammates to support critical platforms.
• Ensure technical architecture components and interface designs are properly integrated and documented.
• Support cloud implementation and migration activities, preferably using AWS technologies.
• Contribute to DevOps initiatives and secure cloud application environments.
• Develop and promote best practices related to security, architecture, connectors, and software development.
• Provide technical support and quality delivery throughout all project stages.
• Partner with technical departments to validate new tools, technologies, and applications.
• Work with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe software development methodologies.
• Handle database queries and support CI/CD-based deployments.

Technical Environment

The role involves working with technologies such as Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Java, REST APIs, Microservices, Hibernate, JDBC, React, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, JUnit, SQL, Jenkins, SonarQube, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Grafana, Eclipse, STS, Visual Studio, Postman, and MySQL Workbench.

Exposure to PLM and CAD tools including 3DEXPERIENCE 2022x, VPM 1.15+, ENOVIA V6, and CATIA V5/V6 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, publish, support, and operate web applications.
• Deploy scalable, highly available, and maintainable websites and systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across development, QA, and production environments.
• Maintain awareness of compliance risks and follow internal policies and procedures.
