Job Description

Airbus is looking for a motivated junior developer to join its digital engineering team. The position is suited for recent graduates or early career professionals who are interested in building and maintaining software solutions. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining internal software tools. You will participate in implementing software applications that support engineering activities within the aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object oriented concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Exposure through projects or internships to developing modular components for front end architecture.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working on software development projects or internships.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Basic exposure to Unix, Linux, or Windows server environments.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and common DevOps tools.
• Understanding of data structures, datasets, and data related products.
• Awareness of code analysis tools and development IDEs.
• Understanding of software development practices such as Agile or Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior developers to understand project goals and technical requirements.
• Support the design and development of software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for applications and tools.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality.
