Role Overview

Accenture's Trust and Safety team helps platform companies improve the quality and safety of online content. Members act as an important line of defense while gaining hands-on experience. The team also tests, evaluates and challenges AI systems and platforms, including generative AI, to improve integrity, quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, classify, remove or otherwise engage with content according to client guidelines, using specific tools and channels.
• Analyze user profiles, audio, video and text-based content, and investigate, escalate or resolve issues reported by users or flagged by the system.
• Stay current on changing client policies, guidelines, generative AI shortcomings and advances in content moderation and responsible AI governance.
• Investigate, resolve and relay complex content issues to the wider Trust and Safety team.
• Develop and run prompt strategies to test large language models on topics such as medical advice, legal advice and other sensitive areas.
• Assess model responses for appropriateness, inappropriateness, refusal to answer or added disclaimers, following client definitions.
• Work with team members to build a complete understanding of responsible AI issues arising from model responses.
• Help develop best practices and guidelines for content moderation and responsible AI governance and policy.

The role may expose you to objectionable or disturbing content, including flashing lights and contrasting light and dark patterns.

Requirements

• Strong coping, emotional resilience and stress-management skills.
• Excellent comprehension and communication skills in English and other required languages.
• Ability to perform duties objectively, without personal bias, in the best interest of client policies.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Comfort synthesizing and analyzing information from multiple streams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with and passion for responsible AI, the internet, internet platforms and internet culture.
• Cultural awareness of political and social situations in the relevant market and region.

Active participation in the Accenture well-being support program for the Trust and Safety community is required.
