Zensar Pune Hiring Non Voice Data Entry Specialist | Graduates

The Order Entry Specialist will process and manage customer orders, quotes, RMAs and status updates, keeping them accurate, timely and in line with customer expectations. The role calls for strong organisation, clear communication and a commitment to high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently using order management systems.
• Review orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate order status, shipment details and delivery updates to customers promptly.
• Resolve order discrepancies, pricing issues and delivery delays with the relevant team.
• Maintain accurate records of customer orders and transactions.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide strong service and support.
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies in order management workflows.
• Meet established SLAs and performance metrics for order processing and fulfilment.
• Own end-to-end quotes, order processing, order rejections and status.
• Monitor daily order management activities for accuracy and efficiency, and ensure orders are entered, validated and processed within agreed timelines.
• Review and approve exception orders when required, manage order backlogs and distribute workload across the team, and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Team Management and Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop Order Management Specialists.
• Hold regular team meetings and performance reviews.
• Set individual and team objectives aligned with business goals.
• Guide the team on complex order-related issues.
• Identify training needs and support employee development.
• Foster a positive, collaborative and customer-focused work environment.

Team performance is measured on order entry accuracy, SLA adherence, on-time processing, backlog aging, productivity per FTE, CSAT, first-time-right processing, escalation resolution time, employee engagement and team attrition.
