Internship Role
As an SEO Intern, you will collaborate with both the SEO and content teams to improve organic visibility and drive traffic through content strategies. This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to real-time SEO execution and digital growth.
Responsibilities:
- Publish SEO-optimized content using CMS platforms like WordPress
- Ensure proper formatting, interlinking, and metadata setup
- Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest
- Optimize existing blog content and web pages for search engines
- Assist in both on-page and off-page SEO initiatives
- Detect and help resolve technical SEO issues such as broken links and redirects
- Use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor website performance
- Perform competitor research to identify keyword gaps and new content opportunities
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of how SEO and search engines function
- Experience with publishing content on WordPress
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or SEO tools (preferred)
- Comfortable managing content on CMS platforms
- Good communication skills and ability to manage tasks independently
- Strong writing and editing skills
