Wipro Gurugram Hiring Graduate Engineer Trainee | ₹4 LPA

Role Overview

Wipro is hiring tech graduates for a manual tester role at its Gurugram location. The trainee will configure and test Wipro's proprietary Total Benefit Administration (TBA) System to meet client requirements. This is an entry-level position for candidates with strong programming logic, analytical skills, systems configuration and testing skills related to human resource systems.

Work is on a day shift, five days a week from the office, under a 12-month service agreement. A gate assessment is conducted before the interview, and candidates must live within the hiring zone.

Responsibilities

• Review client requirement documents and preliminary test plans, and meet due dates.
• Ask clarifying questions, escalate issues when needed and use available problem-solving resources.
• Configure the system to meet analysis specifications and document the configuration.
• Prepare test cases and test data, identify test case needs and execute test activities as directed by the SA.
• Fix issues found during test execution and stress test the system.

Skills and Expectations

• Knowledge of SDLC principles and system testing and quality assurance practices.
• Basic understanding of automation testing is desirable.
• Understanding of relational database concepts, including SQL and DB2 queries, and the ability to write intermediate SQL queries.
• Ability to troubleshoot intermediate system defects, analyze and debug issues and understand data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems.
• Experience with systems implementations is a plus.
