Role Overview
Join the Commercial Digital team at Volvo, focused on reinventing the digital experience for Volvo customers. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will develop both front-end and back-end software for global consumer-facing and internal products. Collaborate with a distributed scrum team, driving innovation in car-buying experiences while ensuring seamless functionality across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop back-end solutions using .NET and support front-end development with React/Next.js.
- Collaborate with Architects and Tech Leads to ensure consistent and resilient technical solutions.
- Design and implement data models, REST APIs, and scalable microservices.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Guide junior team members through code reviews, test automation, and DevOps best practices.
- Utilize monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and ensure security best practices.
- Work on cloud-based solutions with a focus on DevSecOps using Azure.
- Break down epics into features/stories for agile product development.
- Maintain clean, testable, and maintainable code, and implement automation/automated testing.
Do You Fit the Profile?
- Proven experience in programming, testing, and maintaining IT systems or applications.
- Expertise in .NET for back-end development; knowledge of Java is a plus.
- Strong experience with React/Next.js for front-end development.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies like Kafka and MQ.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with Azure cloud solutions, monitoring tools, and automated pipelines.
Education Requirement: B.E, BSc, MSc, or equivalent training in Computer Science
