Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Support Engineer to maintain and enhance our enterprise platforms. This position requires strong SQL skills, effective troubleshooting abilities, and clear communication. You will collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth platform operations and accurate data handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve application and data issues.
- Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Perform validated and safe data corrections.
- Troubleshoot production issues using logs and monitoring tools.
- Understand product workflows and conduct impact analysis.
- Maintain structured documentation and ticket updates.
- Collaborate across Engineering, QA, and Product teams.
- Take complete ownership of assigned tasks from initiation to completion.
Required Skills
- Advanced SQL knowledge, including complex joins and performance optimization.
- Experience in Application Support, TechOps, or Data Support roles.
- Understanding of system logic, APIs, and data flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail and self-driven execution.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for analysis, validation, and reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure SQL, App Services, and log management.
- Ability to read basic .NET/C# code for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with workflow-heavy or enterprise platforms.
