Honeywell is hiring for the position of Software Engineer I at its Madurai location. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand software requirements
- Design software architecture and code components
- Develop test strategies and automate testing
- Implement Test Driven Design (TDD)
- Conduct integration testing and system verification
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain quality records
- Collaborate with Scrum teams and participate in Agile development processes
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Fresh graduates or professionals with up to 1 year of software development experience
- Strong domain knowledge in systems such as Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm Systems, or Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Practical understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Experience in scripting and automation using Python
- Hands-on knowledge of Selenium, Appium, TestComplete for automated testing
- Proficiency in LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or JMeter for performance testing
- Experience in testing web services and APIs
- Exposure to mobile and web application automation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
