Job Summary
The Tools & Automation Engineer improves operational efficiency by developing and maintaining automation tools. This role focuses on asset management and ITIL processes, making sure every solution meets organizational standards for quality and cost. The engineer works with others to deliver high-quality code, support existing projects, and respond to client requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automation scripts using ITIL frameworks and tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW) to streamline critical incident management and improve service delivery.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation tools and scripts, keeping them highly available and performing well during incident resolution.
- Work with clients to gather requirements for new automation features and implement enhancements using BMC Remedy and CA Service Desk.
- Document processes, scripts, and incident management workflows to support knowledge transfer and compliance with ITIL standards.
