Your Impact

As a QA and Automation Engineer, you will help validate Cisco wireless platforms by creating test plans, building automation, and analyzing system behavior. The role provides hands-on exposure to real networking environments, lab setups, and modern AI-assisted development tools.

This position suits engineers who enjoy exploring how systems work, identifying issues, and ensuring high-quality product delivery.

In This Role, You Will

• Write and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.
• Review test outcomes to detect defects, inconsistencies, or performance gaps.
• Reproduce customer and system issues within controlled lab environments.
• Assist with building and maintaining testbeds and lab environments including routers, switches, and access points.
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve issues.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as Copilot or Cursor to improve automation and testing productivity.

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals, preferably using Python or a similar scripting language.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and debugging abilities.
• Interest in troubleshooting system behavior and improving product quality.
• Interest in AI-enabled engineering practices and productivity tools.

Preferred Qualification

• Exposure to networking devices including routers, switches, and access points through labs, coursework, or internships.
• Familiarity with building small network environments.
• Basic knowledge of wireless technologies such as Wi‑Fi or 802.11.
• Certifications like CCNA or progress toward certification.
