About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Associate DevOps Engineer (Fresher) to join our expanding technology team. This is a unique opportunity to launch your DevOps career in a collaborative, high-impact environment. You will be part of a team that ensures smooth software deployment, robust cloud infrastructure, and continuous integration and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Learn to provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Monitor performance, availability, and security of applications and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or the ELK stack
- Collaborate with software development, QA, and IT teams to enhance delivery workflows
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Support containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Participate in troubleshooting deployment and infrastructure issues
- Contribute to process improvements and the automation of manual tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
- Exposure to version control systems, preferably Git
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic shell scripting
- Willingness to learn cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic experience related to DevOps, system administration, or cloud computing
- Understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools
- Exposure to Harness Platform is a plus
