Job Role: Software Engineer I
As a Software Engineer I, you will be involved in developing and enhancing Tower’s Post Trade Platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to design scalable and high-performance software solutions that support middle-office and back-office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Post Trade tools including reference data management, trade capture, reconciliation, P&L, trade cost management, surveillance, and regulatory functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements
- Build scalable, robust, and high-performance applications that align with business and technical goals
- Contribute to the technological innovation in the firm’s operational systems
- Maintain and upgrade existing software infrastructure for better performance and compliance
Experience Required
- 0 to 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or a related domain
Technical Skills Required
Python, Java, Shell Scripting, Linux, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Exposure to financial instruments such as equities, commodities, credit, interest rates, foreign exchange, cryptocurrencies, futures, forwards, and options
- Experience in electronic trading systems or financial platforms
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
