Job Summary:
Tesla is hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to build and support internal tools that manage the design, permitting, and installation of energy products. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications that optimize Tesla's energy installation processes.
Responsibilities:
Develop and support applications within the team’s scope. Write clean and maintainable code. Develop unit and integration tests. Monitor live system metrics and troubleshoot production issues. Collaborate with product, design, and business teams. Own feature development through all stages. Improve system scalability, maintainability, and availability. Document new technologies and functionalities.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/ES6. Experience with React and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of SQL databases. Familiarity with frontend tools like Vite, NPM, and Yarn. Strong understanding of web technologies and core design principles.
