Job Summary
S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking an Associate Engineer in Software Engineering to join its agile content systems development team. This role involves working on high-volume, multi-terabyte data systems using the Microsoft .NET tech stack and React. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in emerging technologies while contributing to scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, debug, and maintain software applications
- Implement, modify, and maintain customized or standardized software solutions
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Interpret technical requirements and provide implementation strategies
- Collaborate within a scrum team in an agile environment
- Engage in technical problem-solving and debugging
- Execute other related tasks and assignments as needed
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
Basic Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Knowledge of modern web development frameworks and tools
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across disciplines
